WISDOM
MONDAY
"To God belong wisdom and power; counsel and understanding are his.” – Job 12:13
Not only are our arms too short to box with God, but so are our brains. In every moment, God has a plan. In every triumph and tragedy, there is a plan of God at work.
I know that at times that may be difficult to understand and to accept. Especially when someone or some things happen that make our life just HARD and HURT.
In those moments, especially in those moments, we are to trust God’s will. And that is why this scripture is here to comfort. When us humans have something that “belongs” to us, we hoard it, are selfish with it, are sneaky and stingy with it. That is what we do with our “belongings”.
Not God.
When God has something that “belongs” to Him, he shares it, with us. Jesus ring a bell? Think about that, “wisdom”, “power” belongs to God. As does counsel and understanding. And then in His love for us, God teaches us wisdom in our secret place so that our wisdom has the power to shine like heaven, sends a comforting counselor in the Holy Spirit, and complete understanding through Jesus Christ.
God Loves You. Even when life hurts. And with God we have the wisdom to know that when we have God, we can even have comfort when the answers are unsearchable.
In all things, there is God!
Be Blessed, Beloved.

TUESDAY
"Yet you desired faithfulness even in the womb; you taught me wisdom in that secret place.” – Psalm 51:6
In your secret place. God has taught you wisdom. YOUR SECRET PLACE. I stress that because the wisdom that was taught to you in your secret place, is YOURS! The wisdom that was taught to me, was for me, in my secret place.
Secret Place. The place is to be secret. The place where God talks to you, that place is your secret headquarters to be one with God. The place where you become a new thing in Christ, born again, from the "womb" of God.
Wisdom, wisdom on the other hand is to be shared. We are taught in solitary to gain understanding, to ask questions, to be in our safest of places to be one with God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit.
But wisdom, wisdom is to be shared. Unless it is the wisdom that God has for you and your journey, we are to share the Wisdom we taught.
Enjoy your secret place with God, it is Yours.
Be Blessed, Beloved.

WEDNESDAY
"‘Call to me and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know.’” – Jeremiah 33:3
Google does not know everything. Google does not actually “know” anything. All Google does is find stuff. That is it. But God is here for us when we need to find the things we cannot find, the things that cannot be searched, that we do not know.
Some things happen, that we deal with that we just do not know. When they arise, call on God. Cry out to Jesus. Rely on the presence of the Holy Spirit.
It is okay to “not know”. It is okay to admit that some things are too big, too massive, too layered for us to know. Do you know who knows?
The one who knows every strand of hair on your head, who also knows every blade of grass, and every grain of sand. The one who knew us in the womb.
Let us remember to call on Jesus to get our answers and to find what was unsearchable.
Take that Google!
Be Blessed, Beloved.

THURSDAY
“If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you.” – James 1:5
The messages are back. This will be a week about wisdom. In these days, wisdom seems to be in short supply. And if we are honest, we may experience our moments when wisdom escapes us.
When we have moments when our brains cannot focus our way through when the weight of decisions and the ramifications of those decisions are just too much to ponder, ask God. God who gives us all, will give us the wisdom we need to get through.
You Got This!
Be Blessed, Beloved.

FRIDAY
"But now that you know God—or rather are known by God—how is it that you are turning back to those weak and miserable forces? Do you wish to be enslaved by them all over again?” – Galatians 4:9
There is a saying, “when you know better, you do better.”
How has your life changed since you accepted Christ? Has it? Once we turn ourselves over to Christ, we are supposed to be different.
Part of that is that we start making better, smarter, dare I say, wiser decisions. These decisions are not solely about us, but how do our decisions impact others, our family, our block, our city, our planet.
Yep… YOU can make decisions that can change the world.
Now that we know better, we are to resist making those unwise decisions that were no good for us, and others, and turn to the wisdom that is Christ Jesus.
Let us evolve our thinking, with Christ.
We know better because we are better, in Christ!
Be Blessed, Beloved.

SATURDAY
"Listen to advice and accept discipline, and at the end you will be counted among the wise.” – Proverbs 19:20
Are you perfect? Are others, perfect? No? That means we are all going to make mistakes.
Many times, along the way to being “dumb”, there is advice, a voice, or a glance, or the Holy Spirit telling us we knew good and well we had no business making that decision, that choice. Let us listen more to the advice of wise counsel.
When we make mistakes, discipline will be coming. Sometimes that discipline is private, sometimes it is public, sometimes it hurts a little, sometimes it hurts a lot.
Let us be mature and take our discipline so that we can learn to do and be better.
When we do, we will be counted among the wise. That is where Jesus wants us to be… among the wise.
Be Blessed, Beloved.

SUNDAY
"Those who are wise will shine like the brightness of the heavens, and those who lead many to righteousness, like the stars for ever and ever.” – Daniel 12:3
On the Purple Rain soundtrack, Prince had a song entitled, “Baby, I’m A Star”. We think of stars as something or someone to aspire to. The attention. The publicity. The paycheck. The travel. The glamour.
But if you study astrology a little bit, you learn something about “stars”. Stars are typically stationary objects. And they typically only have one purpose, to be a source for others. That could be light, heat, gravity, etc., but none-the-less, a “star” exists for others.
When we gain wisdom, we are to use our wisdom to shine our light to lead many others to righteousness. When we gain wisdom, and share our wisdom, we shine (like a star) as bright as heaven.
Let us not be selfish with our wisdom, but share our wisdom with others, combining all of our wisdoms, when put together, we will be a shining light, providing though the darkness for others.
Be Blessed, Beloved.
