My ministry is teaching.

God placed me on this earth to teach—to take what is complex and deconstruct it so that others may understand, grow, and excel. This is the gift God has given me, and I am profoundly grateful for it.

Why do leaders need teaching?

“We only know two things: we know what we know, and we know what we don’t know. Wisdom is knowing the difference. Intelligence is applying wisdom.”
— Rev. Damon O. Smith

Leaders are often so consumed with the demands of leadership that they have limited capacity to master new technologies, strategies, tools, or regulatory developments. These pressures are compounded by the multilayered nuances of today’s social issues and the far-reaching impacts they produce.

How can leaders keep pace? And even when talent is hired, how can leaders discern which consultants, staff, teams, and collaborators will best advance their mission?

This is where The FAITH FIRST PROJECT® serves as a vital partner. Rev. Damon O. Smith is adept at assessing and supporting leaders, honoring their traditions and organizational legacies while preparing them for the future achievements they strive to realize.
